RYUKYU KOBUDO SHOTOKAN

RYUKYU KOBODO SHOTOKAN (Shotokan Kobudo) is a modern style.

This style was founded by Dr. Georg Stiebler, who sadly passed away in 1997. The Shotokan karateka Stiebler (6th Dan Karate, 6th Dan Kobudo) studied Ryukyu Kobujutsu according to Inoue and, through the harmonious combination of both styles, formed a Kobudo style that is the perfect complement to Shotokan Karate.
Shotokan Kobudo is based on the movement forms of Shotokan Karate and includes the sub-areas Hanbojutsu, Bojutsu, Saijutsu, Tonfajutsu and Kamajutsu.
At the moment, RYUKYU KOBUDO SHOTOKAN is represented in Germany by the Dan holders David Dekreon, Wolfgang Eis, Michael Joost and Laszlo Lehnhardt.
